I have recently sent some coins to a swap partner but they are not responding to my messages. It been a while since I sent my coins and I haven't receive theres. I'm worried I'll never hear from them again.
Can I raise a issue with admin?
Thanks
Lets swap!!! I collect any coin which I dont have, as long as they are not a fortune. Numista is my life and expect a reply in under 12 hours. Create a swap with me!!! Fast communication and fast shipping. My reviews say so :)
I understand you, I'm in the same situation. It's been going on for 2 months, I've asked him several questions but no answers. The only answer I got was when I asked him if he had received my coins and he said no. That taught me a lesson. That taught me a good lesson, now I ask to see all the coins before accepting the swap.

hey guys, it is important that you report problems you had with an unreliable partner to the Numista administrators. Just go into the user's profile and click on the blue button with the exclamation mark. The possible action of the administrators will help other users contacted by the said person not to fall into the mistake you made despite yourselves.

What's the difference even if he/she shows you the coins before swapping?
I am just curious.
It's easy to pretend on the site that you have such and such coins without him or her having them, so when the person shows you photos of the coins, you have a better guarantee that he or she will send you the swap, and at the same time you see the quality of the coins.

Even if they show you the items, they can still scam you if they want to. I had someone download one of my scans and tried to offload it to a serious collector recently. The collector knew of my note and my web site but was not sure if I was the owner of the note. The scammer snipped the scan from my website but without my website detail (ie not the full picture of the banknote), which I usually add to the bottom my scan. This collector then contacted his good friend, who is also my friend to confirm this.

Most of the time, we don't swap one banknote or coin, but several. In my swap I had about thirty, so what's the probability that there will be a photo of the coins I'm asking for out of a thousand of them? I belong to several sales groups on facebook and to show that we have the coin or the banknote we have to write our name and the date on a piece of paper with the offer.

I have a confirmed swap where I provided my address but he never provided his. He stopped responding to messages, even though he has been active on the site since. It has been 5 months. Since swap is confirmed, I cannot cancel it. On my last message I indictated my desire to cancel the swap. I wished the swap had an expiery date or time limit. At some point you have to make the coins avaliable for other swaps and you can also start getting your requested swaps from, other sources. I wished there was a mutually agreed end time for a swap.
