When the entry has a currency selected, if the denomination selector lack one, clicking other will submit a denomination creation request on Admin side
I recently sent modification requests about pieces of exonumia with a value (with currency, or fantasy currency), and I had this problem when I searched and selected a value from the some similar options in the list. I selected one value, but I did not know what currency is associated with my selected value (I really wanted select a value without currency, because were exonumia of type game/fantasy).
For example, this token N#236720 has a value of 2½ Dollars and there are a few options for choose. In these case was “easy” (text is “2½ Dollars”, with fraction and “s”; I only choose between numerical values 2.5 or 2.50). If I look for “2.5 Pounds”, there are two identical options.
🤔Now I saw that the options are sorted by numerical values.
If we see these options group by the currency, it can be more easy.
I suppose values are assign to one currency (actual or fantasy). Actual currencies are assign to one country/issuer, but… what happen with fantasy values?
On the other hand, if we select currency as Unknown, I think the values should not include the values of actual currencies.
Wanted & swap list (euro coins & world coins, exonumia and banknotes circulated) https://goo.gl/AQjfKp - I have euro & world CC coins for swap.
When no currency is set in the selector, you see only denominations linked with no currencies.
Then… there are many denominations without currencies. 😵
I assume some pairs in the image of my previous example are duplicates.
I found this topic https://en.numista.com/forum/topic140018.html. If I understand it, they are creating fantasy currencies by country/issuer and assigning values to them, to reduce the list of values without currency. It is correct?
