German Notgeld - Schwenningen need clarification [solved]

5 posts • viewed 95 times

Good day, dear community.

I did same topic in Exonumia identification forum,  and by suggest from gyoschak I copy the thread here, so maybe someone can help me here.

Recently I've got three different tokens of Schwenningen. All of them are different in diameters. I've tried to identify them, but I am in doubt.

Eine Sammel-Marke

diam: 21,20 mm

thick: 1,0 mm

Zink

The circle between “Schwenningen” and “A.N.” is missing

Looks like : N#86360 , but I cannot choose Men18#29052.4 or Men18#29052.5 or Men18#29052.6

Eine Sammel-Marke

diam: 18,24 mm

thick: 0,91 mm

Zink

Looks like: N#155091

Men18#29052.2

Eine Sammel-Marke

diam: 23,18 mm

thick: 1,36 mm

Ferrum

Looks like : Men18#29052.9 but it's not listed here in Numista .

I will appreciate if anyone can help for identification of above items.

I have that print screen as I understand from Menzel catalogue.

Thanks in advance,

Good day,

i`ve done some researches and compare a screenshot from Menzel catalogue :

1. Third coin is Men18#29052.9 because of its size and material (Fe) - mostly material. The coin is not stated in Numista, so I will make a request.

2. Second coin is  definitely Men18#29052.2 because of missing "-" between "SAMMEL" and "MARKE", the size of the coin and material (Zn)

3. First coin for me still under question. Can anyone explain me, what means

"unten  M.  & W.ST." for Men18#29052.5 ?

"oben 1,4 mm gel." for Men18#29052.6 ?

Will be appreciated for any help. Thanks in advance.

"oben 1,4 mm gel." Gel. for gelocht (perforated) might mean a 1.4mm hole. Sometimes a square slot cut in the edge, or a hole punched elsewhere in the planchette.

Thanks a lot ! From my side, the topic is solved.
