I will be suggesting to John that he should attend it - as he was on a day trip in Dublin from London with a friend of his nearly 20 years ago.

Spending a few days in Dublin's numismatic scene would do some good for him - & he could add some more from Ireland to my collection.

If there will be enough Numista community and we will have time, then yes, we as well might!

It would definitely be nice to have a beer together, even if there are not many of us. Let's rediscuss when we get closer to the fair to agree on the day and time.

My chances of making it look slim to none. Still trying to wriggle out of previous plan.

Xavier - Haven't been to this part of Berlin - not aware of any places in that area.

I have been to this beer hall few years ago - Hofbrau Wirsthaus.

I dont know if I can make it to the Meeting, but as someone who lives in Berlin, don´t go to a Bavarian Wirtshaus if you want to experience a real German/Berliner “Kneipe”. ;) There are nice Pubs in Neukölln near the Estrel or near by at the trainstations “Ostkreuz" or “Warschauer Straße", have a look at google maps. 

I'm not going to be able to be there, my job prevents me from doing it, but it would be great if you could make a great photo report and a small summary of the day to day so we can get to know each other a little more and the contacts or the work that the Numista team does there.

two above that seem not too far from the Show grounds and have decent reviews.

I will be staying at the Estrel Hotel directly at the Show, maybe also a decent bar there.

Im arriving on the 02.02 in Berlin at around 14:00 and leaving already about the same time a day later.

I already have plans for Friday evening, 02 February. And it seems nobody can make on the Saturday evening.

I guess we'll just meet on the Fair itself 🙂

When I attended some years ago, there was a decent Vietnamese restaurant near the venue.  The venue also had good currywurst.

The BVG buses, trams and subways will not run tomorrow in berlin between 3 am and 10 am. 
After the strike ends, strike impacts should be expected until midday…

What's going on? 

I'm curious & I'm sure others are too.

(It has been so-o long since I have been to a convention/coin paper money event).

We are trying to get some contacts in the industry - mints, auction houses and others to get some partnerships. We are handing out flyers as well:

We are also trying to get people know us, and we have lucky draw for children :)

Are there lots of children?  I don't remember many when I was there…

Not many :) We added the sign “for children” when the free coins were being taken so fast.

I do remember everyone in orderly lines.  I had never seen such h orderly queues before.

Very nice and congratulations! I was last there in 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Did you have a Numista meetup ? I believe that people usually meet upstairs in the gallery area. 
Hope to see some more pictures from anyone who attended ! 

I'm already on my way back home. The World Money Fair is very interesting as it gathers many different actors from the numismatic industry: blank manufacturers, striking machine manufacturers, mints, dealers, auction houses, marketplaces, media, grading companies, supply providers, etc. Our goal was mainly to get to know the people and get known. It's a way to build and nurture relationships for existing and future partnerships. 

It was also great to see in person some of the Numista users and referees, and to present Numista to potential future users and contributors.

Two highlights for me were the launch of the German version (which pleased many German collectors we met) and the smiles on the faces of the children who participated to the “lucky draw”.
