got the coin today, no great thing, only caused from historic context.
I observed an orientation different to the catalog. Pictures of the coin:
We are seeing a 90° orientation.
Can anyone help with the following questios:
1. Does my coin look authentic?
2. Are there known variants in orientation?
If 1.yes i will request a change of catalog, thanks in advance.

Yes, as stated on the coin page for the 1946 5 Hao, Commonly encountered with rotated dies. Seems reasonable that it applies to the 1 Đồng coin also.
What change? If yours in not coin orientation then it's an error.
A couple of examples:
Used time zone is UTC+2:00.
Current time is 22:50.
