Date item added to "my collection"

Please add the date a coin was “Add[ed] to my collection” to the “Edit items in my collection” popup. Also, the date of last edit, if possible.

I strongly support this, and please make this also available trough the API.

I just put this information in the private comments on the entry. Example: Acquired 3=03/01/2024 from xyz and it shows up on the list even when i have two other entries for the same coins (Red F.A.O. Album - Acquired 02/21/2021 from xyz) etc. I don't think a feature is necessary personally, but I can see its utility.

As with any financial transaction, I expect the date to be available on the receipt without me having to write it down myself.

I would like the “date added to collection,” to be available as an export option. This is information already tracked by the site for every coin, so it should be a simple matter to add one more export column.

When I export my data to print labels for my coins, I would like to have this available to add to the label, so I can see how long ago it was added.

I also agree that having a separate field that allows me to enter when a coin was acquired (which may be different from when it was added to the site) would be useful (and exportable!).

Many of my coins were found and not purchased, so there is no receipt record. Also, I would hate to look through hundreds (or thousands) of receipts just to find a date that is already tracked by Numista.

And while it is certainly possible to add the acquisition date to the comments, it will be quite messy to export if some coins have additional comments besides the date.

I really love this suggestion, and additional benefit  for later development is enhancing value prediction, as coins value changes with time, I have some coins that its price today is 4 or maybe 5 times its price 10 years ago, this makes  value of the coin entry is obsolete . Thus adding when is the coin acquired and connecting it the price value would be a great plus later on after couple of years.

Echoing this - I was surprised to find that it wasn't already an export option. I export my collection info to Excel as part of my label creation process, and as the collection balloons it would help to have a fixed date reference so I'm not accidentally duplicating/missing labels (printer ink is too expensive…)
