Pennies on the go and a collector's wet dream.

Hello colleagues in the world.

Not too long ago I asked for help buying a bag of pennies from America. https://en.numista.com/forum/topic142093.html

There are none in the EU, and if there is one, it is hugely overpriced. Several colleagues spoke up, and I didn't know what to do.,, But I bet on logic,,

Even if the colleague in question has no rating and is not active after all -The person who puts his name in NICK- pennyholik

the coin's name and this coin's sick desire for him - so he will be a real person for my target- and I was not wrong.

The whole time I was trying-,,in vain,,to get an account number to transfer money to the US- I was not allowed.

He WANTED my address and picked up a couple of twos with my SWAP offers in the wish list-I'm already preparing it.

He didn't wait and sent the package:

From a smaller town, Cent went to the regional center to say goodbye to SF

After the "Garden" stopover, the penny came to say goodbye to the Governor of California. Across the country of the USA, he moved to the main department of the center in front of the monument of President Lincoln - to ask him for permission to leave his native country and go on a journey to the heart of Europe - Bohemia.

He flew over Velký rybník directly in front of the EU Parliament in Brussels, where he bowed to Uršula Von -he raised his middle finger and said: I'm going to Čechia.  Our customs officials gave us a welcome new uniform, but they didn't charge duty or anything, only the treacherous post office had to charge $6 for representation before customs.

On Thursday, the package arrived at my house weighing 1.6 kg

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_(United_States_coin)

He was, I'm overwhelmed and I had to sit down and a tear came out.

nicely packed

Neither grandson nor son had ever shared such a herd of Bison.

Gloves, writing paper - small bags for vintages and mints and let's sort.

In the meantime, I will prepare the shipment to be sent to the US, I just have to wait for the Order from the National Mint, where I had to arrange something else.

So colleagues. this is the "wet dream of a numismatist", The joy of collecting and especially the warm relationships here on the NUMISTA website that make such miracles possible.

Wow thanks for the kind words and such a great write up of the box and its travels.  When I was at the post office working on the customs form we both could not believe the cost that came out to receive the package, see photo. Ivan said that he would work a deal on his end. As mentioned in many threads sending bulk packages overseas is crazy.

I sure hope you find many coins you need for your collection and even start sets for the kids. I think you will be left with only needing the coins that most collectors need, I know I get asked for them. I can mail coins out in a letter if needed but no more package. 😀

Hi, I'm an American  living in Germany. I'm not sure if you are still asking for more pennies but I have some I'm getting ready to turn into the American bank over here. I don't have them on my swap list because nobody here wants them. I only have the Wheat Pennies listed. If you are looking for more I should be able to get you some. I can ask at the bank.

Hereby, in front of everyone, I give you a big bow, my friend. A very big thank you and a message from me and my grandchildren who I am preparing to take over the traditions of collecting coins.

I will fully compensate the shipping costs. And yes, it's a crazy cost for postal services - and it's ruining our great hobby - we do SWAPY, EU with each other, then America-Canada and the rest of the world We ignore or don't want to because of the unreliability of the post office.

A very big and genuine ,,thank you,,

Ivan

Hello colleagues in the world.

Hi, I'm an American  living in Germany.

Yes, fellow military veteran and fellow collector - I know that you have access to the American post office (in 1994 I was at the American base near the border, about two hours away from  ,,Marianske Lázně,, Planá  - at the invitation of the engineer chief of the units stationed there.

Yes, I also promised to contact you - I kept you in reserve as a veteran tactic option - always have a "backup" - Pyrotechnic lesson,,

Thank you very much and I will see the enthusiasm of the grandchildren and their enthusiasm for the search, so I would contact you. Thank you very much fellow veteran.

I can't use the Military Post Office for anything over a pound and it's a lot of hassle with customs, so I send everything German mail. Never had a problem. I also can't use the military bank but can use the Federal Credit Union. I'm retired and it's German law! Just let me know if you need any.

Hi Daryl.

You are actually the Godfather of my collection, I owe it to you for American coins to supplement my modest and mainly scattered Pennies.  You gave it "Order"

I wish you good health and, above all, peace and stress-free.

Yes, the search game has started, but my goal is to give the cents a new album, where they will be arranged in threes next to each other according to the mint, with the fourth line vertically for a rarity or a peculiarity found, and a free unoccupied place will be a signal.

It’s a wonderful conclusion to your story. I am so glad you hooked up with the right guy!

Did you really have to pay $666?

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
