Hello everyone, is there any actual evidence for the existence of this supposed 2007 50 centime piece?

N#752

It seems highly unlikely that they would have minted something like this, especially only for the Dutch version and not the French one too. It seems NGC has the same data in their system (no photos, because of course not), but I cannot seem to find any other source online to corroborate its existence.

Thanks in advance

Who coined the term "coining a term" anyway?

No evidence that I can find either.

They stopped minting them in 2001 and that is the last set in Belgian Frank that I have. Why would they make a 50 Cent piece in 2007? It just doesn't make sense…

There is also a law in effect that an equal number of coins must be made in Dutch and French.

I would say 2007 doesn't exist and should be deleted. Once real evidence surfaces (picture) that it exists it can be added again, but highly doubt this will ever happen.

Is it not that you confuse, accidentely, the 1 from 2001 with the 7 from 2007?

...you can run,  but you can't hide...

Yes, exactly that. The 2007 year line needs to be removed.

The numista catalog page includes a 2007 date line

Jamais l'or n'a perdu la plus petite occasion de se montrer stupide. -Balzac

So would it be possible to get this removed then?

Removed 2007 line.

Removed 2007 line.

Thanks! The 2007 date is still in the date range at the top of the page though, is that going to automatically change back to 2001 after a bit or does that require editing as well?

The date should be fixed soon by the background Numista tasks.
