Identification help on "HOTEL BROTHERHOOD U.S.A." token [solved]

I was wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light on this Hotel Brotherhood token I have. Through research of my own, I learned about the Hotel Brotherhood (Now the Bainbridge Club) in Philadelphia, but I have unfortunately been unable to find more information on this token.

It is a bit larger than a quarter, made of brass perhaps? ~5.3 grams, smooth edge. Obverse reads “HOTEL BROTHERHOOD U.S.A.”, and the reverse reads just a big “5”. I found an entry for it on TokenCatalog, but it was incomplete and provided little context for the year or purpose of the token.

Perhaps, but I’ve seen both a 5 and 10 version of the token, which leads me to believe it had some value as currency or smth?
