Coin capsules

Is china coin capsules are safe to store coins for long time , they are advertising as chemically inert , no acid . Buy very cheap than lighthouse. 

Depends the he material used but this is also true for Germany or United States of America capsules.

The cheap prices could come from the use of cheaper polymers and potential harmful ones but also from cheap labor cost, large bulk manufacturing (but many other Western brands already make some of their products there too) and larger tolerances (worse quality controll, fit etc).

I’m not buying capsules, but when I buy a coin in a shop here in China, if there’s no proper slab, they’ll put it in a capsule.

I’m not in the plastic industry, just wondering, cost différence for raw materials and process impact with or without PVC🤔. So not sure if it’s still in use For this purpose?

few grams / made at fairly high volumes. 
 

cost difference definitely Labor. (Finish, remove the burrs (or not) assembling both sides/ packaging shipping)

none productive time (tool change/maintenance) definitely higher in the west.

i‘m sure many western brands are sourcing from China. As for quality I’ve learned to be humble. could be a long conversation.

Everything is from China - get used to it, companies talk and are often just dealers.
