Received this commemorative through the post earlier today…

Not really sure it's a real coin, even though it's listed under the ‘Coins’ section. Your thoughts?
Two jetons from Nuremberg, from different suppliers …
‘Germany Nuremberg Jeton’
[STVDEAT VIRTVTI // FORTVNA VARIABILIS]
‘Nuremberg Charles IX Jeton Token 1560-1574’
[VENERANDA MINERVA // PIETATE ET IVS-TITIA / H KRAV]
Not currently on Numista
Just now won this - nearly 160 years old. Especially nice as at the top of
the obverse is a small owl, flying outwards from the medal.
‘German Olympic Gymnasium Medallion, London 1865’ [Pewter medallion, d. = 51 mm]
[FRISCH FROMM FROH FREI] [ZUM ANDENKEN AN DIE EINWEIHUNG DER
DEUTSCHEN TURNHALLE IN LONDON AM 28 JANUAR 1865]
I got most of the Gothic lettering correct, and looked to see if there was
a page that had it on to confirm. This page was found >
An addition a few days ago …
‘French Jeton’
[NAPOLEON // FIRST CONSUL DECR 14 1799 EMPEROR MAY 18 1804
ABDICATED MAY 14 1814 EXILED TO ST HELENA AUGST 8 1815]
Not yet been able to find a catalogue reference or more information about it. 😐
A nice recent addition
‘1841 commemorative Prince of Wales birth medallion Victoria and Albert’ [49mm]
[PRINCE OF WALES AND DUKE OF CORNWALL / BORN NOV 9 1841]
[HER MAJESTY QUEEN VICTORIA AND PRINCE ALBERT OF SAXE COBURG & GOTHA]
White Metal, by W.J. Taylor,
Obverse: Busts of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert left, conjoined
Reverse: Britannia with attendants, holds the infant Prince
Got this silver set today. Everything I found online says that it is a set produced by Franklin Mint for Chase Commemorative Society. But I found that it was actually Medallic Art Co, (MACO) that produced it for them. Each piece is marked CSS for Chase Commemorative Society but it has no markings for MACO. I guess I can put in the mint MACO with the CSS as a mint mark and an explanation in General comments should work.

Just now won this good condition coin weight
‘Unknown bronze medal GR with castle view’ [45mm]
[G R / A B D Y // STANDARD S 21]
21 Shillings = 1 Guinea
Unknown three countermarks on reverse.
Apart from the pressed pennies below, which I bought during a trip to Portsmouth Historic Navel Base last weekend, May has been a bit of a ‘dry’ month for me. Hoping June will see an improvement .
Also, just found a really comprehensive website where almost every type of pressed coin, as well as it's location, can be easily found. One problem - it doesn't appear to be very secure (hence no direct link).
Used time zone is UTC+2:00.
Current time is 23:55.
