Thanks. I saw that in one of the banknotes websites too but I am unable to find the resemblance of him when I did a Google search on his images. Those on the Internet are showing a much older photo of him. I am aware that he was a Prime Minister when he was 33 years old and then the President at 36. This 200 Ouguiya is printed with the date of 1977 when he was still the President. So, why use a younger picture of himself then and not when he was 53 years old in 1977?
Do you mind telling me where you got that info from?
Upon looking at the pictures more closely, it seems that it definitely isn’t him, unless he opted for a receding hairline in that photo. I got the name from the same site you have pictured. In his younger photos, he doesn’t resemble the person on the note either.

Thanks Voided_Username01.
I was checking his hairlines too and he does look different. I believe this image is based on a real person and not just an artist's impression.
