I started the year with 490 coins but only 430 different coins because I collect all the years of each KM # for Pacific island coins.
Since then I've managed to get to 509 different coins, adding my 500th coin this afternoon.
And what is this famous 500th coin I hear you ask? The little beauty that saw me reach the magic "D" mark is this little gem

Congrats Neilithic! I'm sure it won't be too long for you to reach the 1000 mark.
Keep up the interesting topics in the forum and hopefully good o'l "Trade me" will help you reach your next milestone.
Go Kiwi's
As a youngster, I like to find NZ pre-decimal and foreign coins that had made It's way into circulated coinage.
The thought of holding a object of the past with it's hidden history really intrigued me as a youngster...and still does.

As I'm waiting on my lot of 10 pounds of coins I dare say that will tip me over the 100 countries mark. I really need patience but I don't want to be patient.
