No problem!

Sure there are some exceptions to that general rule…

Best regards, GuGa

For coins, there are only 61 coins that fit this criteria. Half of these are from the Portuguese colonial empire, so the high face value may be cultural and not an indicator of actual inflation.

I inserted an example in the original post.

It shows few results, although we get (notgeld) coins Weimar Republic (Germany), and standard circulating coins from Turkish Lira, Ukraine • Karbovanets (1992-1996), etc.

All of them are notorious currencies from famous hyperinflationary periods…

Those are all gold coins. You didn't use rule #2 as mentioned above:

2) Composition: Non precious

Some countries had changed currencies instead letting their currencies having several zeros. Eg, Brazil changed currency 5 times in the 80s and 90s or Venezuela with 1 bolívar digital = 1,000,000 bolívares soberanos = 100,000,000,000 bolívares fuertes = 100,000,000,000,000 bolívares

I would say that it's indeed cultural. The notation of réis were in thousands (1$000, if you compare to Portuguese escudo notation that was 1$00 for 1 escudo)
