I do not find any valuations for this date. Is it much more valuable due to the date?

Ok, thank you Mr.Midnight.
It is a pretty coin to hold
Mr. Midnight is correct, 1899 is not a scarce date for this coin, but the coin is still worth “melt” or as you might say, literally worth it's weight in gold!
Here is the Numista page: N#20953
Mr. Midnight also suggests that you bookmark the NGC page, and that's great advice! NGC is the “gold standard” of price guides for world coins, but remember that their prices are average values for CERTIFIED coins, not raw coins like you have. Still a fantastic resource that I use all the time.

… but remember that their prices are average values for CERTIFIED coins, not raw coins like you have.
That is only technically true for US coins where the value disclaimer is, The NGC US Coin Price Guide shows average dealer retail prices based on actual, documented transactions and other information reported by collectors, dealers and auction houses for NGC-certified coins. The price shown is the average dealer retail price, excluding any sales tax, for an NGC-certified coin in a standard holder with a standard label and does not reflect any premiums for special holders, labels or designations unless otherwise specified.
For non-US coins the disclaimer is, The prices listed in the various NGC Price and Value Guides are compiled from a number of independent, third party sources in the numismatic community which NGC believes to be reliable. Prices provided are averages, not specific prices for individual coins. Coins that are not NGC certified still enter in the value calculation.
Thank you all for this information! I have marked & will look at NGC also. I am having such a time with these, just so many…then trying to figure differences in countries, year, composition, special things to look for, errors…I don't know how you all keep track and know these things so easily!

Beautiful coin.
it has a rich history which i appreciate.
if you decide to part with it, message me. If it makes sense i would buy it, as i frequently travel and enjoy getting coins at my destinations to add to my gold coin collection.
having said that, the coin saw the blooming of the Russian empire, sustained commerce during the revolution. it later was a store of wealth well into the soviet period.
