What are the common mobile phone apps that people are using in Germany for transfer of Euros? My research indicates Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App are not available.
Apple Pay and Wise are good? Are there any other common ones?

Sorry, but why not Revolut?

Sorry, but why not Revolut?
It appears Revolut is not accepting new customers at this time: “We're currently in the process of migrating to a new partner bank so that we can offer our customers improved products and services.”
PayPal is very common and also very popular.

Sorry Germany, I don't know which bank provides the best transfer product.
However, many years ago I suggested here that for us numismatists, who want to buy and sell among ourselves and of course pay, the best option is really REVOLUT.
Sometimes during the exchange, the partner does not have enough and comparable coins, and the only way out is to pay the rest according to the agreement. And this is where the Revolut application is absolutely favorable - a transfer in seconds, an account in different currencies, transferring money between individual currencies and a large number of currencies and accounts. Also protection, and account blocking. At the same time, you can also manage cryptocurrencies - group, sell and also stocks.
However, if someone gets upset, I recommend not to panic and wait until they do an event for new customers and there will be a reward in the price of a silver denarius. I'm not promoting it commercially here, I've just had the app for over 5 years and it's really good. I am satisfied.

PS:So I looked at the transfer of up to 30 currencies and it is the same to have accounts in these currencies and to transfer to myself as needed with a favorable exchange rate.
Id say paypal as well. My bakery around the corner accepts only Cash or Paypal for their Croissant.

update: After a 5-month application window, I was finally approved for a Revolut account. I suspect this is not a normal timeframe, and it was delayed for their migration.

I have had it for many years, they still had a bank in England back then. I am satisfied with them. A few years ago I proposed it as a solution for financial compensation between us collectors, in exchange for their offer of a new member I included a large medieval silver coin for free for each. It did not work.
The advantage is having accounts with them in many currencies.
