Hello!

I bought these coins the other day and I didn't manage to properly identify them. I am not sure they are original, but who knows. Any help is much appreciated!

I can say with certainty that none of these are silver coins. These are regular Chinese cash coins from the Qing dynasty. They are sold at around $2 to $5 each here. I believe none of them are silver coins.

1: Guangxu Boo-dung mint (2nd last emperor) (Texture seems off but can't confirm) N#48837

2: Jiaqing Boo-yuwan mint N#28094

3: Guangxu (probably a fantasy coin)

4: Daoguang (mint unclear)

Ty for your reply and identification of the emperors!

I have bought them for around 1,5-2$ each, so I had little to lose, even if they are fakes. 😄 I am very bad at Chinese identification unfortunately. After your lead, I found some things:

1: My coin's weight and diameter falls far from the above mentioned coin, though the inscription is the same, I'll try looking further into it.

2: Seems to be the one!

3: I looked up the Guangxu coins, is it not the one I have? N#17768

4: I looked up the Daoguang coins, is it not the one I have? N#41540

Thanks again, I have made a huge step with these!

All's clear but the first coin which appears to be a degenerated version of the small version of Boo-Guang (which was struck).

Not really a fake, more an evocation of the smallest coin ever procuded ?
