Hahaha, I had the same thought at first. But on another tab I still had the right page open and I could refresh it, so i knew it wasn't gone. But it took some time before I noticed the colon was the evil-doer. The colon was no part of the original link but apparently because I didn't use a space between the link and the colon, the colon became part of the link, which broke the link.
