£10 Clydesdale Bank 1999 - Incorrect date?

Just looked at the Scottish £10 banknote from Clydesdale Bank from 1999 and the date listed appears to be incorrect (N#209801 - 20th Oct 1999).  On the note itself (including the one pictured) the date is 12th Oct 1999.  

Which date is correct?

@LDC63, Not sure what you meant when you said (including the one pictured), but I have one and according to my records, it has the date of 20.10.1999 too. I have all the notes listed here, including the one with the prefix of NAB (National Australia Bank) commemorative.

Did not even know that this date was printed! It is strange to see one printed with 20.10.1999 and another one 12.10.1999. Thanks for the info.

Sorry, I just realised that I have made a mistake. I do have the one printed with the date of 12.10.1999 but I am missing the one with the date of 20.10.1999. My stress level has just gone up a bit!!

Not according to the Banknote Book.

Bank Note Museum only has a picture of the 12.10.1999 dated one, contrary to what the dateline (there) says.

I was asking myself that question yesterday too. Could that be a typo error for me, and I have no idea how I got it wrong for my records too. I recorded all my notes when I acquired them. This note and many others all came from the bank's cash center many years ago.

That is likely a typo. Banknote Yearbook lists only 12.10.1999.

I will add 12.10.99.

20.10.99 is listed in scwpm. It is probably an error. It is up to members to report the dates on their notes. We have 8 members who list 20.10.99 as being in their collections.

Incidentally, if someone would like to upload a scan of their example as an improver to the existing image, that would be much appreciated.

Whilst we are still on this topic, the two same notes printed with the dates of 14.03.2006 and 16.04.2007 s. David J Thorburn are not listed here on this site. In all it should be 9 prints, including the one special issue printed with NAB prefix.
