Good day, please assist/ confirm if the attached pictures are of a coin or a token. I see a 1790 8 Reals on Numista.com, but not a 1798 with the se details.
Your insight/ assistance will be highly appreciated.

Although you might immediately think of a coin of Spain, these types of coins were struck and used in several countries. Always look at the mintmark (before 8 R) to know in which country you have to search (Mo is for Mexico). Also the letters after 8 R are different for each country (the assayer's initials).
