i have a en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53835.html coin here. it is 20mm, weighs ~1.7g and i cannot see any clear sign of fakery.

however, as is outlined in red on the bottom image, there is an ident/mark that seems to read ‘WRL’. (sorry for bad quality on the outline; the image didnt look that bad when i took it!) does this mean anything?

i would also like to know what quality this coin seems to be in (i would assume an VG or F, but im no expert)

sorry for making so many posts on this, i just really wanna know!

I'm afraid you have a reproduction. WRL did ring a bell, there are a few more topics about coins with that inscription.

According to this one (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic4836.html) WRL stands for “Winter Reproductions Limited”, 49 Frederick Street, Birmingham, B1 3HN"

Here's another post about WRL:

ah, thats a shame. thank you!

Yes, but on the other hand be glad the inscription is there. Suppose you want to sell that coin sooner or later, thinking it's authentic if the WRL wasn't there, and someone would find out it's a fake after all, then you're the bad guy selling fake coins. You don't want to be that man.

very true!

It's Westair Reproductions Limited.
