Indian Coin Identification #6

5 posts • viewed 111 times

Hello all,

I have more coins to put on this forum (More to be posted soon) so now I will bring forth another coin I have.

This was a coin that I had bought during my travels in the UK and I am guessing that it is Indian or at least South Asian.

It is a bronze coin with a diameter of around 17mm and a thickness of 2 mm.

Hope to hear of where this is from and to add just a bit more knowledge on this subject.

Thanks!

Hello all,

This was a previous old entry that still needs to be solved so if anyone is familiar with this coin it would be very appreciated!

It would help to have a weight to the nearest tenth of a gram.

The weight of the coin is 3.555. Hope that helps to narrow the field!

Tried a Zeno search of Indian bronze coins weighing 3.3-3.8 grams with diameter 16-18 mm. Unfortunately didn't turn up a match for your coin. The closest I found were some coins of Garhwal
