I have this coin.  It is NOT “high relief”.  It is a thick 2 ounce coin and is more like a piedfort.  I see MANY  coins that are thick but are promoted as “high relief” .  Just because a coin (or bullion piece ) is a 2 ounce strike (and thicker than a one ounce piece) does not automatically warrant the claim of “high relief”.  This term gets  mis-used all too often.  This particular coin was promoted as “high relief” and, unfortunately is listed in the Numista reference as “high relief”.  I think the "high relief” term should be removed. This coin is part of a series of coins that have been called "High Relief" for quite some time. You said yourself it was promoted as “High Relief”. The series it is part of is called “New Generation” series.

The Perth Mint are now calling them Piedforts, whereas before they called them High Relief.

This is the latest 2 ounce one with King Charles III on the obverse they have issued.

For consistency if you want to remove the “High Relief” part of the title will you also do the other 7 coins in the Series of similar 2oz Bullion coins?

Hey Mike.  Thanks for the info.  Well, it seems to me that - for the sake of consistency - and since the Perth Mint has “revised” their marketing, all of the coins in the series should be listed in Numista as piedforts .
