Incorrect date on recent Saudi Banknotes [solved]

Why was the recent date of these Saudi bills changed from 2024-2023?

 

 

The date is wrong because there is no Saudi central bank banknote that has the date of 2023. this 5 riyal bill says 2024 not 2023.

Here is another one from my collection. 100 Riyals 2024It doesn't say 2023 but rather 2024

Yes, because of what rsirian1 mentions, some years must be manually overridden by referees due to the default. I think I corrected them all for this series, please check.
