I will not begin MPCC II until the forum thing blows over. I really don't want to be skinned alive over a few coins.

Thank you to all those who want to keep the peace.

A note to those who want to fight: stay off this thread.
A good move I think dan !
Am I missing something? I've calmed down. Where is the fight now?
I'm excited to hear the new deadline, and I'm sure a lot of the members are too.

The deadline is when the fighting stops.

Is anybody here a phycic?
Where is the fighting now? Changes and waiting for Xavier, you might as well change your contest to 2014.
I agree with torontokuba, but its your contest you're allowed to postpone it

Doesn't the MPCC not start for over another week? There shouldn't be any fighting by then.
I was just thinking, that the more levelheaded members like smoked_caramel and bam777, leading by example, show us what a team member should be made of. They have both tried to ignore the fighting and have refrained from getting too involved. Through the fighting, neither one of them started new topics that would continue to bring up the fighting and neither one of them tried drawing more attention to themselves. The fighting may be a recurring issue until the power distribution problems are corrected. That could be never. An aspiring team member shouldn't quit and might also think, that a contest is just what the forum needs to take their minds off the fighting. Just an idea. I don't plan on participating.
Am I missing something? Where is all the fighting?

Nowhere to be found. I think torontokuba put it pretty well.
C'mon, we need some positive threads. Everyone is bored of fighting and there is no reason why anyone should want to ruin MPCC II.

I think that yesterday showed that we have all calmed down. Of course we still need a little time to all cool our jets. I think your decision is wise, Dan, plus it also gives me time to enter!
I also am looking forward to having things back to normal but it is important to remember what happened and why it happened and learn from it.

Do you want to continue with topics that bring up the fighting? I can start one, if you think it will help us remember what happened. ;)  :D
No, you're alright.  B.
Shucks, I was just working on a new departure title. Let me know what you think...
Arrivederci! Adieu! Numista members,  you.

It's for sale to the next chap who wishes to draw attention to himself by leaving.
I think now I can give a new deadline: 2/21/13
