It is an error, not too uncommon from what I hear. I don't think we always put errors onto the coin's page and Indian Republic Collectors do not usually classify them separately.
It's a very nice example of an off-centre strike, so you should definitely keep it. But it's still just an error, not a variant and you won't find errors in our catalog.
