When I enter “1 ore” or “5 ore” into the "face value" search field only Swedish coins are returned. (Öre with an an umlaut)

“Øre” coins with a minuscule (i.e. Denmark and Norway) are not returned.

Search results should either show Sweden, Denmark and Norway coins or no coins at all.

I vote for “ore” returning “Øre” coins as well.  Too much mucking around is required to figure out how to enter the Ø character.

.

What do you mean by with a minuscule? A minuscule is the opposite of a majuscule or lowercase and uppercase letters.

But yes the Øø (slashed O) represents the same ligature Oͤ oͤ as the German and Swedisch umlaut version Öö and should be found the same way.

Sorry, “o with a stroke” whether minuscule or majuscule.

This is still annoying me!

“ore” only returns Sweden…

Doesn't seem like it should be too hard to fix.

Did you try with “oere”?

I just did, and that doesn't function either, although that's a legal way to write the “ø” as “oe”. I do it with my family name….

Hello,

You can now used the search fields ‘currency’ and ‘denomination’, where you don't need to think about the spelling.

See the announcement of the new fields: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic62094.html#p1310496

If you want any coin with a value in ore independently of the issuer or the currency, I recommend you use the main text search field.
