Pirate treasure?

Hello, Im going thru some valuables from an estate and found this stuck to the bottom of an old jewelry box.  I do know that the owner was a wealthy greek man, but that's all I got:).  You all are much more knowledgeable and I don't want to be excited over it but I do know it doesn't stick to the magnet and it doesn't float.  This all I got:). Much love for helping.

That's not all you got. You have another side, a diameter and a weight. We don't.

Welcome to Numista!

Sorry, I'm so silly…I scream Newbie:). ok, other side:

Definitely Peru meant to resemble one of these but 8 Escudos. I doubt it's real.

well thanks?  I think?  lol. anyone else?  I went from excitement to not, very fast.  hahaha  who would you send it or take it to?

Tina E

The two coins I linked have weight 6.77 grams (2 Escudos) and 13.5 grams (4 Escudos). 8 Escudos would weigh 27.0 grams.  Let's see what others think.

Thank you so much, I have a lot of idk stuff so glad I joined.  its nice to actually chat with someone.  Even if they do burst your bubble:). lol

That's what makes coin collecting fun.

I think I found what it's a copy of:  N#46601 year 1708

Notice the weight 27.07 grams.

And, hello from Baltimore.
