Standardize the permission request system for the use of images

This topic is to propose that the request to other websites for the possible use of images on our Numista website can be streamlined and standardized

I try to explain it: the quality of a numismatic catalog like Numista depends, to a large extent, on the images of the items (coins, banknotes and exonumia). Without photos, the catalog is not as complete. Given the importance that in my opinion images have, the request to other websites for the possible use of their images should be improved and streamlined.

My proposal is to be able to make a topic, anchored at the top, where users can include the websites that we need to be able to include images in the catalog and someone from the team (founder, catalog administrators or someone designated for this), can go sending these websites a standardized email in order to obtain the necessary permission.

I believe that this way we could speed up the process, ensure that websites are not included by mistake, and greatly expand the list of websites that give Numista permission to use their images.

I hope I have expressed myself correctly and that the proposal is understood. If something similar has been proposed, I am sorry for repeating the proposal.

Regards, Oscar

That's something I wished for a long time in secret as well.

Another thing to mention:

I believe the chances for a positive response are higher when the request comes from an admin (or similar) asking in the name of “their” website instead of a random user asking for the benefit of some random website.
