Wrong size? [solved]

Discussion about Isle of Man • 50 New Pence - Elizabeth II

I bought one of these labelled as a P#33.

Treasurer of the Isle of Man, with a Dawson signature.

Everything matches the image that I see in the catalogue except one thing: the size.

My note measures 127mm x 61mm and the catalogue says it should be 139mm x 66mm.

Does anybody have one of these to hand that they can measure?

According to this site, your note's size is correct. I have my note stored away and I am too lazy to take it out and have a look at it and measure it. Do not believe everything you read here. They are not necessarily accurate.

One of the very in unfortunate things on numista that we have no way of knowing were certain information are coming from (even if you can look in the modification history it is not guaranteed). It would be beneficial to have a source tag/link for each data point so we could see if it is from a catalog, mint report or original research (I measured it myself etc.).
