Could the coin have a goldish/ yellowish tone? Thanks

With the coin in hand or you saw it on a picture? On a picture it certainly can due to improper lighting.

Thank you. With the coin in hand. Everything is as expected (size, weight, no magnetic), but the yellowish color.

Depending on the patina silver coins can have a yellow hue or if it was in the possession of a heavy smoker. But without pictures (under neutral light) it's hard to say.

“silver” of unknown purity manufactured in an emergency with unknown quantities of unknown metals and impurities will do what it will in its 200 year life time.

True. I was looking at the soldered/brazed loop attached which cracked the coin although it's too uniform to be heat induced.

Thanks to all of you who contributed. I agree there are maybe some impurities + time.
Have a nice day, you all.

Because of the loop I suppose it was used as a pendant. Maybe while making the coin ready to be a pendant they also gilded it?
