Hello 🤖

Without pictures, it will be very difficult for anyone to help you. Could you please post clear pictures of each side of your item?

Please note that this is an automatic message. Feel free to ignore if it is not relevant.

I wished i have sent them earlier. as i have said , those photo files were already  sent previously.

This photo is my proof that a graphic was made previously to address my concern

.

Hello everyone, i have submitted all the necessary details for my coins. May i know if there are any significant comments on it?
thank you again.

I am by no means an expert on foreign coins but the process of how coins are struck leads me to believe your coin was struck on the wrong planchet unless they changed the size and composition of the coin mid year which happens a lot where they decide to change the specifications of the coin reducing or increasing its size. You would need to research if a design change happened should be easy to find. If it is the former then it's classed as a mint error and depending on how many and type of coin and of course interest by collectors would carry a small premium over an ordinary coin from that year. If it's the latter that is just normal coin evolution and is exactly how it was intended to be. I hope that helps you good luck with it. It might be the large size was the original size and they reduced it as is normal practice as it costs less to make

Thank you very much for sharing your impressive analysis. It truly helps to get much closer to its identity. In so far as i know, particularly based in your records…BSP 5p coin with dates 1999 & 2002 were among those that were minted in the PHILIPPINES. To that effect, i have not heard or knew of any issue regarding nickel BRASS metal shortage which will lead to the changing of its original composition. Instead, for the records. The BSP issued NEW designs for the phil. 5p coins…the ROUNDED & NONAGONAL 5p coins designs. And the rounded 5p coins bears the year 2017 And was made from nickel plated STEEL. It follows after the 5p BSP 1995-2017 design series.

i shared my ideas based on what i know. Im no historian much more no expert too. I just thought that sharing  ideas could somehow balance an issue.

lastly if i may, i am again reapectfully and heartfully requesting for your expertise on this matter.

again, my thanks and appreciation.

thank you very much.

Hello again everyone. I am writing again with hope that someone could provide a final judgement for my coin but so far none was inclined to share it to me. So, i decided without your permission to proceed fo the CR.besides, some of your staffs wished me luck for the fate of my coin.  I know from there that a referee could give its final decision. That is all that i ever wanted. If it pass then its good if not , it is still as good because at least i know what it is.

forgive & thanks for my act.

thank you very much.

Hi ABBE I don't work for numista I am a fellow collector like yourself. Like I said I am no expert in foreign coins.my thoughts were based on coins I have in my collection with similar appearances. The list of could be a result of…… are many as I said my best guess is it was unintentionally struck on the wrong size planchet which would make it a mint error. Only way to tell would be to have it evaluated either by a third party grader which would cost potentially more than the coin is worth. Or send it to where it was struck with a S.A.E. and a covering letter pointing out your questions. Good luck 🤞

That was very kind of you My good Sir. Actually i really lost my hopes. I can see that the Numista personnel doesnt show interest anymore. I keep pushing that it could be a rare mint error. Its just that i have no means to probe it. I supported it with factual reality. Who else would counterfeit such  a non-valuable coin like that?

like you im just an ordinary coin lover. and i have no means to go thru grading because i know its very expensive too.  I guess im done. My appeal on numista are still pending though they rejected them twice. I guess ill leave the fate of my coin to them.

theres not much i can say anymore. But i do really appreciate your kindness consideration and effort . Somehow it makes me feel better.

My good Sir, accept my thanks and respect.

GOD BLESS.
