I photographed more of my new coins, so here they are.

the 1901 50 centime is a little treasure.

Really nice group - good early French demis and Spanish colonial silver, plus the scarce Palestines.

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

I took some time off work this afternoon to stop by my LCS to pick up an American Innovation Dollar dansco album and ended up walking out with these.   The cards they came in had the Standing Liberty graded as VF and the Barber as F.    How would you guys grade them?  I'm curious if the cards were accurate or not?

I would say fine is a fair grading

The Commonwealth games £2 are always a nice addition. Last one I found in the wild was an England version around 2 or 3 years ago. Out of a Tesco self checkout. In really good condition too like someone had held onto it for a long time.

Yes, same here - they sometimes still turn up in change.

Shame the same is not for the A to Z 10 Pence - of the 2 years

they were issued, I have found 1 of 52 in change, annoyingly.

 One example - 2018/2019 - N#135496

Last great find I had was five years ago I bought a bacon and egg barm cake gave a fiver and got a real live 2009 Kew in the change, as I already had it in different grades I gave it to my grandson for his budding collection.

Always nice to see some UK additions. I'm still looking for the NI Commonwealth games £2 (and the 2015 Royal Navy) in my change. A very nice find all the same.

On the A-Z 10p, they're stupidly rare. I've been very fortunate that where my brother works, they seem to use up a disproportionately high amount of 10p coins in change. Through him, I've got maybe about 25 of them (quite a lot in the last 6 months oddly enough), and like 2 in my own change but it's been yonks since my last one. Still not a full set though. Missing A, E, L, & Z. 😕

Whilst I do find them a bit gimmicky, I can certainly appreciate the artistry on them.

P.s. Bruno - First time I've seen any of the “not-quite-UK” bimetallic £1 coins out in circulation too. Was delighted with it. 😁

I've got a decent run of the “not-quite-UK” round pounds. Oddly enough, I think Gibraltar was my most common version.

Once almost had an Ascension Island one, but I remarked it to the customer about the unusual design who promptly took it back out of my hands and gave me a normal one. Never made that mistake again! ☹

I would call both of those VF.

Found the coin I was looking for, received this just this afternoon :D
Strangely, I received the 5 lira coin first before this one buuut.. there you go) there's also a 50 kuruş coin for this year but it's so rare at least for now for me to find so for now I guess I finished my 2025 collection 😆

I was having the same thought, the only reason I could think of to downgrade one of them is the little ding on the neck but I know nothing :)
