XXV years of peace was an institutional propaganda campaign launched in 1964 by the regime of Francisco Franco to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its victory in the Spanish Civil War, on 1 April 1939, exalt the regime, improve its image, and celebrate the prosperity and modernity of the country. The campaign consisted of exhibitions, festivals, contests, publications, film premieres, stamps, coins, medals, decorations…
The series consists of seven gold (.917) medals of different sizes and weights, issued by Iberian Numismatics in 1964. The obverses depict the effigy of Francisco Franco, and the reverses depict his coat of arms.
