Help with Identification of Roman Coin

3 posts • viewed 39 times

Hi there,

Can you please identify this coin?

Weight: 1.7g

Diameter: 12mm

Nothing conclusive, the exact coin may not yet be on the catalog.

But the coin looks more greek than roman.

The reverse shows a cornucopia, which is upside down in your photos.

This search shows similar coins, but none of them are a match: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=grece_antique&r=cornucopia&st=all&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=np&f=&t=10-15&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=

Thanks friend, It really looks like a cornucopia, tomorrow I will try to look at it with a 30x magnifying glass to see at least if there is something written.
