Identification Request – Islamic Dirham in Silver – 11.45 g

Hello everyone,

I would like to request your assistance in identifying an Islamic coin I have recently acquired.

Here are the details:

• Presumed type: Dirham

• Metal: Silver (presumed)

• Weight: 11.45 grams

It's a Durrani silver rupee (the Durrani empire included modern-day Afghanistan and Pakistan). In a quick look in Zeno I saw some somewhat similar coins, but not a good match for this one. Hopefully another member will be able to add details to the attribution. I think I see a regnal year of 24 below the center of the second photo.

date could probably be read as 1204  AH
