I have a $5 bank of nova scotia ffrom Jan. 2 1929 but I can not find any reference to it. Can you tell me if this is a real note? The picture you have in numista is from 1935. I see nothing from 1929. I have no camera so I can't send a picture. Please help me . Thanks

I don't believe the Bank of Nova Scotia $5.00 note from 1929 has been added to Numista yet.  The 1935 version you linked to is likely the smaller sized version, which was re-formatted to meet the Bank of Canada regulations at the time (which they established with their small sized 1935 series). If you'd like to add your variety, here are the Numista guidelines on how to proceed.

Here's a link to PS-622 supplied by the CoinsandCanada site.  Check the eBay links (below) & try to compare your note (the condition) &/or you may get a similar value from the table provided you can match its condition (however the values on the table are dated 2023).  BTW: they're often referred to as Chartered banknotes (not the “Dominion of Canada” series).

Here's another link from the BNM for PS-622. Hope that helps!
