3,934 new users but only 80 added coins to their collections?

Why are people creating accounts?

Why are people creating accounts?

“80 of them” meant nations, not users.  80 nations had at least one active new user account in April 2025.

Out of the 4,153 new user accounts in April 2025, 722 of them appear to be active, meaning they added at least one item to their collection.  Still, that's less than 20%.  The large majority of user accounts on Numista never bother to collect anything.  This is a user trend I've seen every month since I starting tracking new user stats in 2011, and it's a problem most websites have, not just Numista.

Your original question is still valid… why bother creating an account if you're not going to use it?

Many are probably one time use accounts to access the forum to ask ‘how many money?’, some are bots and others didn't like something before starting to add or couldn't navigate it well enough.

P.S. Portugal probably was meant to be place 14 and not 214?

Good to see the Australians are doing there bit to keep Numista going. 😁
