Hello everyone,
I recently came across a 1981 Swiss 5 Franc coin that appears to have a 180-degree die rotation error.
Normally, these coins should have medal alignment, meaning both sides should be upright when flipped vertically. But in this case, the reverse is completely upside-down relative to the obverse.
Has anyone seen this kind of minting error on a 1981 5 Franc before? I’d really appreciate any info about rarity or if it’s a known issue.
Thanks in advance!
