I've added that many new ones to my collection not sure if I have or haven't added them here. Playing catch up listing things into the site and will try and remember to add them here from this point forward.
This one though I particularly like
Finish on it is awesome. Its the cupro-nickel variety not the silver as no hallmarks on the rim edge.
I also managed to find it listed in Tams (page 224 item number 44) but as I found that on another site that had the PDF scanned in you'd have to click link and read.
No mint marks on the Northfield medals. I believe they were lost-wax cast. Nothing on the bronze edge, but the silver edge is machine engraved “STER-68”.
Is your Palmer MA bicentennial from 1952, or 1976?
I know they were awarded for public skating competitions, much like we currently have with half marathons and marathon running events that are open to the public. It appears the last one was in 2012 and was sponsored by Unox. https://www.schaatstochten.nl/stolwijkselansingtocht.php
Something other than flags, but, well, more Franklin Mint.
Actually Le Médaillier of Paris France, a Franklin affiliated mint.

One of the privy marks is in a different spot on each . the diamond on the right is LM's mark.
I will be adding these to the catalog.
Now here is a little challenge.
There were 12 of these in the series. The subjects were these:
1 General of the Armies of the Republic 2 First Consul of the Republic 3 At St. Bernard Pass 4 Awarding the Cross of Honor 5 Crowned Emperor 6 Battle of Austerlitz 7 Napoleon and his epoque at the Battle of Friedland 8 Marriage to Marie-Louise of Austria 9 "General Bonaparte" by David 10 Retreat from Moscow 11 Waterloo 12 St. Helena
I can guess which one is #2, but which other ones do I have?

I've been on a cross country roadtrip for the past week, nothing super exciting, just picked up every token and crushed every penny I could find.

Thanks for that. I agree the Palmer and Northfield were made in the same shop.
I should have provided this before.
Weight : 27.664 grams
Diameter: 37.02 mm
In both cases, committee's would have opted for the lowest cost per coin. From what I understand, making dies would involve a much higher initial cost, but lower costs after maybe 10,000 or so. I'm not sure.
These were much lower mintages, so I'd have to suggest were lost-wax. It would be nice to know where, but I haven't found any evidence.
Only one somewhat damaged find recently - a ‘Cat Coin’ (with denticles - although the ones on mine seem a little longer ???) from NL. Can anyone tell me what they were used for?
my newest medal is cat related, very tangientially…
This piece is signed by Josette Hébert-Coëffin. She was an early 20th century sculptor and graphic artist.
This design I believe is called simply “République Française”. It was issued with various reverses, for a variety of events as awards or souvenirs. The center on this piece with the message “offert par…” is a plastic applique.
so about the cats - I also got a book about cats -
A very small edition, it has plates of pencil drawings by Josette Hébert-Coëffin
OK, one more

Three new additions to my collection of animal themed items. 😄 I've started to get a nice little collection of these bullion embeded notes, but that wolf is my favorite so far.

Bought a few old tokens that have just arrived through the door.
One Hull half penny 1791 that has come back to its roots (well within five miles of it), one Isle of Man 1831 half penny token and this one seems to be a variation of the one already listed on here that has an over stamp so may need to add it as a variation unless I just missed seeing it…. Union Copper Company Birmingham 1812.
I'm absolutely loving the variety and stuff you guys have been showing off this month!,
I have not been able to get too many interesting additions. I did snag a few more bullion rounds that I thought were interesting.

Found these replica Spanish coins last weekend for sale at the entrance to the NAO Santa Maria, which is currently docked in Gravesend, Kent (the final resting place of Pocahontas), SE of London: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ced302192d9o
Sorry, can't identify what coins they are replicas of at the moment, so any help would be much appreciated.
