Relationship between series and sets

Can you please clarify which is the relationship between series and sets?

 

Should a link to sets including series coins and to series including sets coins added to respective pages?

I'll take a shot at answering this. A set is a collectable item. If you add a set to your collection you add all the coins in the set. A series is more of an informational item grouping coins that have a common characteristic.  You can't add a series to your collection.  There will seldom be a one for one between a set and a series.  If there is you could add a link to the series on the set page and vice versa although it's really not necessary since every coin involved will have links to both. For example the 2000 Lire The Faith coin:

so no need to put links to sets in  series pages and no need to put links to series in  set pages, links on coin pages are enough
