Unknown Old European Coin #3 [solved]

Hello all,

I have a coin that I believe to be from Europe, Possibly from Hungary as It comes from a lot that had a couple from there. The Coat of arms also look like something that I recognize, but I am not sure.

Here are the specs:

  • Bronze composition
  •  Coat of arms on one side
  •  Another arms shows a small winged horse facing left
  •  Easy identifiable lettering
  •  Around 13mm in diameter
  • less than a millimeter in thickness
  • 0.316g

 Pictures brightened, rotated, cropped

[13mm / 0.316g]

Dont know such coins so well but I would look towards Grand Duchy of Lithuania

“Winged horse” has knight instead of wings, but even Hungary has it on some coins due to being ruled by same person/house. Pagan bear survived by marrying neighbor Christian virgins.

It is not bronze. Period coinage was not using copper or bronze without having at least some bit of silver in it. Government controls were not strong enough for people to accept bronze or copper as payment.

Second image does look like pohonia, but first image does not have anything matching duchy coins. We do not put pohonia on shield til middle 1500s and we have a lot less lettering on earlier coinage.

Added possible lettering, with Vladislaus name both sides seemingly …

Shield containing horse and rider one side / the other with Hungarian two fold shield in centre.
