Does anyone know where to find history exhibits that will hire for part time work? Like in the USA, UK, Canada, etc. Im just curious as history is my dream, my own private museum is the goal and id love to get some experiance.

I knew a fellow years ago in the field.

David M. Egner. He's now VP of Museum Services at Art Guild, Inc. I think in Philadelphia.

If you contact him, you can use my name. We worked together at Cooperstown NY.

I may do that, thank you for telling me, if you have his contact information please feel free to foward it to me on a message but ill also try and Google him and try find his email.

I dont know how part time or internships work in museums or exhibits but im only looking for like a week or 2 of experiance as I have alot going on in September but id pay my own flights and stuff and I wouldn't need to be paid, I honestly just really want experiance so I can put it to use and have a better idea of structure when i start my own exhibits

It's definitely not an easy field to get into, and job opportunities are few and far between.

Internships are usually granted to MA history-museum studies students, and often there's a lot of competition.

I think Dave might be a good source for information and advice,  if nothing else.

I'm afraid I've lost touch, so don't have contact information. I would like to get back in touch with him, if you find anything.

Have you tried more local museums? Sometimes curators can use volunteer help, but I don't know how it works in Europe.

Wait, what?

And what about your mini-museum? Will you take your pieces to UK/Turkey or leave them at Spain?
