Hi, I'm just wondering what is the difference between these two coins:

N#280024

N#350314

I know that one is in “Specimen” finish (special one used by Royal Canadian Mint) and the other one is with Proof finish, but the different finish should make only two different yearlines and not two different coin pages. These coins are from the new alloy (different than used in previous years), also design is different than circulation coins (that is with security features) but for me both: specimen and proof are similar and should be merged to one page… Or i didn't notice something??

@StoneTemple123 what do you think about?

No differences in my opinion.

Furthermore, all sets should be added and all lines merged.

Hi Jarcek, no, the lines shouldn't be merged in this case as the coins are with different finish and were issued only in two sets: proof and speciment set for each year.

So we should merge the coin pages (as the design and specification is similar, only difference is finish) but we should keep 2 yearlines for each year: one for proof, second for specimen finish.

Also photos of second page (the one that will be removed) can be saved and added as example.

Related sets should be created anyway, than the long description from yearlines can be simply replaced by “proof”/"specimen" and all info about sets can be written on sets… but we still waiting for the guidelines for sets. I approve the requests but I'm practically not adding any sets myself to avoid the further modifications.

That is what I thought, I was not clear enough.

So, can you merge these pages?

I would rather wait until sets are added in this case.
