Getting back into collecting

Hi everyone, I used to collect and be reasonably active on this site.  I stopped collecting for quite some time and sold all my collection.  Now that the kids are grown and starting to think about leaving the nest, and my mortgage is nearly paid off, I'm looking to start collecting again. I'm thinking about collecting silver coins of the 23-25mm size that seems to be the standard size for major coins around the world (UK shilling, German mark, French franc, Italian Lira, Portuguese Escudo, US/Canada quarter dollars, etc.

Does anyone have the contact details for coin dealers from their country that sell to overseas buyers?  There seems to be a limited amount up for sale in New Zealand, and I would prefer to pay a bit more and go through a dealer rather than try my luck with Ebay.

Hey Neil. It is really good to hear from you. They grow up so fast. My baby grand daughter is now 24. Where does time go. I hope you and family are well. And i wish you happy coin hunting.

It is, what it is, or is it.

Glad to see a familiar face still on here.  Like everyone we've had our ups and downs, but we keep on keeping on.  My younger boy still has the fossil shark tooth you sent through several years ago.  He's now almost finished his second-last year of high school 😶

Hi I know Coincraft (UK based) and CGB.fr (France based) ship internationally and both especially the latter has a large selection of what you are looking for.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
