Hello there!

Could anyone point me to online numismatic forums that are popular in the United States? It doesn't need to have all the features of Numista, but it does need to have an active community and forums primarily about identifying and evaluating US coins.

Thanks you!

I’ve been a member there since 2022 and they do have quite a lot of information about identifying errors and varieties found on US coinage.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

Than you! I'll wait and see if anyone else has any recommendations.

I looked at that site you mentioned quickly and would like to hear your opinion: do you think the prices mentioned there are in line with the prices practiced recently?

Why would you need an alternative?  There are plenty of US members on this site.

What? Me Worry

Because it is always good to have more resources and other sources.

I forgot about CoinHelpU.  Yeah, that's one of Daniel's sites.  Daniel Malone is a coin shop owner in the state of Ohio.  I don't participate in his coin forums, but I have watched his YouTube videos for years.   He's knowledgeable and keeps everything professional.  He never discusses politics and he knows how to stay on task.  Some people say that he's rude, but I don't feel that way.  They say that because he's very aggressive with the internet trolls, but I would say that they have it coming.  Ha.

It seems like a good reference. I'll take a closer look at his videos. Thanks! But I'd really like a forum where I can post my questions.

Thank you! 😃👍

There's also (family friendly) Coin Community Forum (CCF) & their coin sub-forums.

Coin Talk

(I'm a banknote collector & don't tune in, but I am pretty sure their forums are fairly busy on a daily basis).
