I shall ask the seller

Hi, coin too worn, maybe Maurice Tiberius, to be checked.....

https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=313785

do you want to buy this coin?

it seems to be that maurice tiberius coin you sent, i'm still considering whether or not to buy it, how much would the one above cost usually?

I found this much better example that sold in  a recent auction for 4 euro:  https://www.biddr.com/auctions/numismad/browse?a=6176&s=1006&aso_price_from=&aso_price_to=&aso_price_currency=EUR&aso_price_from=&aso_price_to=&aso_price_currency=EUR

Of course you need to add the auction fee and postage to obtain a real cost for an auction example.

But it means an example in worse condition and with a hole should be worth no more than 2 euros.

If it is an opportunistic purchase (i.e. not part of a collecting strategey for Byzantium), I would try to bargain the price down to this level.

If you are trying to make a collection of Byzantine coins, you might considering saving your money and looking for intact coins at a higher price point.

gotcha, thank you for the information

Hi, you can find some in good condition for 15 euros, don't buy this one, as it is it's worthless!
