What year of issue was the last 1000 Francs note?

Numista says 2013 but the seller of my note says 2021 and banknote.db says 2021.

Does anyone have a definitive date?

It is marked 2005 so it is ND, and the serial number on mine is H043500

And probably signature of Ahmed Osman Ali, so somewhere between 2013 and today (Ahmed Osman - governor central bank Djibouti | LinkedIn).
I have no more info to add …

Just an inconsistency in the registry. The date 2005 should be on all lines (I'll adjust that now).
 

The banknote you're referring to, it seems, was issued in 2021 (but with the same year). This is also the case with banknotes currently in circulation in Brazil, which have the year 2010 stamped on them, and we've had annual issues since then.
 

I'll adjust this variant on the page to 2005 (2021) and see if everything looks okay.

I find it strange that they issued at least 5 series in the first 7 years and then would wait 8 years (till 2021) to issue the next series.

@vladthiengo Do you have official information? Otherwise we should mark them as ND (2013-2025)

It was noticed in 2021 … but when was it issued? Djibouti new signature 1,000-franc note (B201b) confirmed – BanknoteNews

Then again, some photographer posted this picture of a crisp G-note in 2020 … maybe they just had a lot of stock piled up …

Well, putting the lines as ND would be a mistake, since the year 2005 is explicitly printed on the reverse. As for the issue dates, we can put them in parentheses next to 2005. 
 

We've included 2021 as a date that appears in banknotedb and banknote news, which are fairly reliable sources these days. We can continue investigating the issues and make changes to the date range if necessary.
