These are still active?

I started in Dec. 2010, I only barely beat Zac!

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins

Hello all — I don't know whether she ever was a member of the Numista team, but @Ginger has been a Numista member since August 19th 2007 and has contributed to the forum as recently as this month.

She also seems to have a dream job: working in a coin store…

Yes, I used to be on the team a long time ago. But I have stopped after many years, for lack of time and other occupations. I am still here and I sometimes ask questions. And yes, I finally had my dream job, since February 17th 2025.  It’s a blessing.

Wow, Ginger,   Congratulations on the longest member award!

You’re one of the very first people I ever swapped with. I had no idea what I was doing back then. I just liked coins. I wanted you to get me a Canadian dollar with George on it. I always really loved the canoe and what it represents historically in the fir trade. But it was more valuable than I realized.
I still have all the coins you sent me. I did end up getting the dollar coin years later and love having that historical item in my collection as well.

Thank you ! Now, I remember your name. I still have your coins, that I am sure of. Those silver dollars are easy to find (well, most of them lol !), and we sell a lot of them. I sold 19 ones to a single customer this last week-end. The minimum price now is 40 bucks, they have around 41 bucks of silver contents now. I keep collecting. Working in a coin store allows me to find many coins and notes for my collection. But don’t worry, there is plenty left for other customers ! If you ever come in Quebec City, tell me, and you’ll be more than welcome to come find neat stuff !

I don’t travel much, but meeting another coin collector in Quebec would be great.

I don’t travel much either. Usually to Montreal, and I don’t even know if I’ll go next year.
