10 som 2009 Kyrgyzstan. Add new font edge&add another mint for circulation coin

Good day, the reason for my message is to request add new information for “10 som 2009 Kyrgyzstan” - 10 Som - Kyrgyzstan – Numista

Do you have evidence the edge font is because of the mint change, or is that just a plausible inference?

Is there any difference in the obverse or reverse of the coin connected with the edge change?

(Many people will consider it a collectable change even if there isn't a connection to the mint change.)

Unfortunately, at the moment, the only evidence is my observation that the new font appeared in 2021 (The year when coins began to be minted at the Royal Dutch Mint). The Kazakhstan Mint used the same font without changes for seven years.

There are no changes on the obverse or reverse of the coins. Only the edge has changed. (This is a significant change for the circulation coins of Kyrgyzstan, as they have not changed at all since 2014 in terms of edge and obverse and reverse since 2009.)

I tried to suggest changes through the form, but the request wasn't moving forward. So I decided to try the forum.

Taking advantage of the fact that this coin is being discussed, I think the second year line should be modified: it says ND (2014) and it should say 2009 (2014), since the year 2009 is maintained in all issues.

I agree with you. I think the 2014 and 2021 issues are like variations of the 2009 coin, since only the edge of the coin changes, while the obverse and reverse remain completely unchanged.
